First to feature on this blog, had to of course be the incredible Aby Rafter Photography. Aby is the sweetest soul, and I'm so lucky to have the pleasure of working with her both personally & professionally over the last few years.

Hidden away in SoBO, you can find Aby's gorgeous, studio which has the most welcoming, relaxed , home from home vibe and the second you step through the door you will instantly feel calm.

Offering everything from maternity to family, branding to Christmas photos & even more, I can hand on heart say you are in safe hands and will leave knowing Aby will have captured moments to treasure. Her calming personality will make even the most camera shy shine, and you needn't worry if you're running late with a newborn as Aby never once makes you feel rushed or tight for time-she truly wants the best for her clients and wants you to enjoy the whole experience.

Often we forget to capture such precious moments, and looking back I am so thankful we entrusted Aby- especially with our family shoot with newborn Lukas! Having had a newborn shoot elsewhere previously when Klara was born, we didn't have the best experience, and although the photos we have of our newborn daughter are indeed beautiful, anytime we look at them we always recall our negative experience. With that in mind, we weren't so sure on what to expect this time round but oh my goodness we needn't have worried. Aby truly cares about her work, and being a mum herself, understands how vulnerable a time it can be whilst we navigate the fourth trimester. I can hand on heart say we all had a wonderful time in her studio and not only do we have such incredibly beautiful photos to cherish, but can look at them and reminisce on our amazing experience with Aby too- we only wish we found her sooner!

I also enjoyed a maternity shoot with Aby, and had Klara by my side. This is something I wasn't so sure of, but am so glad to have captured my body working it's magic, and the last few weeks of just me and my girl! What a crazy ride! If you're debating a maternity shoot, take my advice & just go for it!!!
